Elyse Bennett has a Masters in Social Work from USC. She is a Certified Lactation Educator and leads support and education groups for new parents at the Pump Station and Nurtury. Elyse also does parenting consultations on the topics of sleep and preparing for a new sibling. Elyse has two children in SMMUSD at Grant and JAMS. She grew up in Santa Monica and attended Will Rogers, JAMS and Samohi. She serves on the PTA Executive Board at JAMS. Elyse got involved with fundraising at Grant when her daughter was in Kindergarten. She chaired the Grant Fall Festival for 3 years and was the VP of Fundraising for 2 years. Elyse is excited to be involved in fundraising at the district level through her role on the Ed Foundation Board.
