Tova Joffe Larsen is an established development professional with a background in political and major gift fundraising, capital campaigns, and a passion for the arts and education. Tova, originally from Piedmont, California, moved east to attend New York University, where she earned her Bachelor’s degree in Politics and began working in development with the New York State Democratic Party. She then transitioned into the non-profit sector as a consultant for six years with CCS Fundraising, where she organized major gift projects for the Children’s Museum of Los Angeles, Deep Springs College, Hebrew Union College, and All Saints Episcopal Church in Pasadena. Following CCS, Tova spent seven years at Temple Emanuel of Beverly Hills as Director of Development, managing their $10 million capital campaign, which included cultivating, soliciting, and stewarding over 100 five-, six-, and seven-figure gift prospects. She also supervised the temple’s $1 million annual campaign, which involved building the 150-member group of donors. Tova guest teaches a fundraising class on major gifts at Hebrew Union College and has served on the boards of Cabrillo Community College, Democratic Leadership for the 21st Century, and Westside Parent Education Nursery School. She and her husband are the parents of three children, all of whom attend California public schools.
