Why We Give - Alumni Parents

Every year, I donate to SMMEF as a big “thank you” to the district for giving my daughter a great education. As I watch her and her fellow classmates flourish, I am reminded of how lucky they were to have been involved in so many of the enriching activities and programs that SMMEF funds. I encourage all parent alums to dig deep and contribute as much as they can as a way of ensuring that the programs that helped our kids prosper will continue!

SMMEF-funded programs make an already exemplary SMMUSD education truly outstanding. While our children were in SMMUSD schools, we were so happy to be part of a district where students could excel in the best arts and music programs, have a cutting-edge science curriculum and be part of a wonderful educational community. We give today to continue that tradition and invite you to join us.

We are so thankful that our two daughters attended SMMUSD schools and know that their current successes as adults are a direct result of the exemplary education they received. To carry on that experience for today’s students, we donate to SMMEF. SMMEF funds the enriching programs that we as parents wanted for our own children, and now want for all children.
